    I booked a rental with ACE a month in advance for Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. It was an off airport location so they send a shuttle to pick you up. The day before I arrived they sent out a reminder notice of the pending rental. Upon arriving at the airport I contacted to come and pick me up. They informed me that they did not have a car to rent me (over booked) and did not even have a car to pick us up. They did not offer any additional help in finding another car but left us on our own. Other car rental agencies at the airport had no cars available. After waiting several hours at the airport Enterprise found me a car but because I had no prior reservation with Enterprise I had to pay the full rate that ended up costing me an additional $400. Do not use ACE Rent a Car. They overbook and leave you stranded.

    UPDATE: I was contacted by ACE customer service and explained the situation. They sent me a check in the mail to cover the difference and were very sincere in their apology for what took place. They have won me back. This is how customer service should be. Thank you!
