  The Aquarium of Niagara is fine for its size, but could be a lot nicer if they put some money into it and expand. Still plentiful variety of fish, sea lions and penguins. Don't expect to see an orca or anything large here. The kids enjoyed the displays and had a good time, but because of the small size, you can see everything in a rather short time. There was construction going on, so it appeared they were working on enlarging or creating new display areas.

  From the picture I'm posting you can see that there is still construction going on (they are building a new penguin habitat). The Sea Lion show is still very good. It's a small aquarium (because some of it is still under construction), so it won’t take up your whole day to spend some time there. They also have a decent variety of animals and the exhibits are informative. The prices are great considering that they are an nonprofit organization that’s opened all year round. The trainers and staff are very knowledgeable about the animals and the whole setup fosters a good educational environment.

  The sea lion show and the penguin activity were great. There was a lot of renovation going on (January) with some of the exhibits. Once that is all finished the place will be really great.

  it's over priced for what there is. $13 for entrance fee. they have a lot of pegiuns and sea lions show. some pretty cool fish! But I just can't get myself to pay that much for what might last maybe 2 hours if I take my time and watch the shows. I wish they would be able to do an extension. it's a nice place and fun. good for kids. I wish they would offer a student discount.

  We recently visited The Aquarium of Niagara during 716 weekend. We arrived at opening and paid $7.16, which was a great discount! We were not aware that the aquarium is undergoing quite a renovation so we were unable to see quite a bit. Dispite that, we still had a great time, seeing the sea lions and the penquins being fed was great. The employees we spoke to were all friendly and knowledgeable. We look forward to returning to see what we missed this trip! It's a great place to have near home!
