  The stairs have been repaired. Both upstream and downstream stairs leading to the river are open but the cave trail has been cut off do to falling rocks. Today was nice and warm couldn'task for a better day. The leaves had fallen and the views of the rapids were awesome! Good hiking boots are important although I have hiked the trail in sneakers. It can be slick. Great place to feel the power of nature.

  It’s tough to top Niagara Falls as a way to see the regional splendor of the Niagara River/Great Lakes watershed. However, Devils Hole provides a great, year round, hiking opportunity to get down to water level and experience first hand the power of the mighty Niagara. The hike can be a bit arduous - lots of stairs and a rocky trail - but if you take it slow, it’s not a big deal at all/it’s worth the time. If people visit our area from out of town - I always encourage them to visit Devils Hole

  My first visit. My husband was in a wheel chair we had some difficulty in the parking lot uneven terrain. But was a very nice view

  A great place to hike and be away from the crowds of the falls. I've taken my small children, but that requires much attention descending to the river level. There is a pretty good trail down with steps of rock, however it is not an easy descent or ascent. This can easily tire you out. Take a water bottle with you and PLEASE don't leave the empty bottle along the trail. This is a beautiful place for us all to enjoy.
